Located in the mountains of Loveland, Colorado and surrounded by destination cities like Estes Park, Fort Collins, Boulder and Denver (all within an hour’s drive), La Belle Ruine is in the perfect location to take advantage of year-round regional events ... and with Colorado boasting 300 sunny days a year, it doesn’t rain on many parades.

Visitors can be picky, selecting venues from numerous major events centers that cater the front range. From rock stars and rodeos to antiques and ice skaters, Loveland’s Budweiser Events Center serves a smorgasbord of popular shows and performances throughout the year. Under the domed roof of Denver’s Pepsi Center, more than 200 sporting events, concerts, and other attractions are delivered annually; while beneath the stars at Red Rocks Amphitheater, world-class performances play into the night — with a spectacular view of the Denver skyline.

For cultural events, Denver Preforming Arts Complex — the world’s largest arts complex — is home to a Tony Award-winning theatre company, Broadway touring productions, contemporary dance and ballet, world renowned opera, a major symphony and magnificent chorales. Fort Collins’ Lincoln Center also offers year-round cultural events and is one of Colorado’s largest and most diverse presenters of professional theatre, dance, music and visual arts.

Not only are visitors thrilled with top-notch performances in major events centers; they‘re also charmed by a kaleidoscope of fairs, festivals, shows, rallies, races and other local events. Estes Park’s “Scandinavian Festival” ... Loveland’s “Sculpture In The Park” ... Fort Collins’ “Colorado Brewers’ Festival” ... Greeley’s “Stampede Rodeo” ... Boulder’s “Downtown ArtFair” ... and Denver’s “Taste of Colorado” — these are just a fraction of this areas colorful events enjoyed by guests of La Belle Ruine.

“Making friends” in Loveland’s Benson Sculpture
Garden — where visitors enjoy a permanent display
of over 100 pieces of sculpture valued
in excess of $3.5 million.
(Above) Loveland, Colorado has been described as “a sweetheart city which has a love affair with the arts.” In fact, U.S. Art Magazine named Loveland one of the Eight Great Art Destinations in the nation. The city’s art collection is impressive, but it's a love of sculpture that seems most obvious. Every August the “Sweetheart City” hosts Sculpture In The Park in conjunction with the Loveland Sculpture Invitational. This massive exhibition features the work of over 300 sculptors from around the world and attracts visitors from across the country. In 2006, guests were able to “Take Home A Piece Of The Park” by purchasing mini-versions (maquette-sized) of 50 of the sculptures that are on permanent display in Loveland’s Benson Sculpture Garden, where the show has been hosted since 1983.
