DEPOSITS: To confirm reservations, a fifty percent (50%) deposit by check, money order, cashier’s check or major credit card is required, with the remainder due at check-in. If payment is by personal check, a 100% deposit is required and the check must be received within 15 days from the date of your reservation. Once payment is received, a confirmation will be sent to the email or street address provided. Rents are non-transferable, and no subleasing is allowed.

The person renting will assume responsibility for the rental home while staying there. A complete inventory is taken after each stay. A refundable damage deposit may be required. Any damage or missing items may be charged to the renter’s credit card.

PAYMENT METHODS: Only major credit cards, traveler’s checks, cashier’s checks, money orders or cash are accepted at check-in to pay remaining balance. A personal check is NOT accepted at check-in to pay remaining balance. (Refer to “Policies/Deposits” above if paying by personal check.)

CANCELLATIONS: If a reservation is cancelled, regardless of the date of booking, the following penalties apply:

Reservations cancelled more than thirty (30) days prior to arrival will incur a ten percent (10%) cancellation fee.

For reservations cancelled less than thirty (30) days but more than seven (7) days prior to arrival, no refund will be made; however, the reservation can be rescheduled and 100% of the deposit can be applied to the new reservation. Rescheduled reservations must be made within thirty (30) days of cancellation date, or the deposit is forfeited. If a rescheduled reservation is cancelled, no refund will be made and the deposit cannot be reapplied.

For reservations cancelled seven (7) days or less from arrival date, no refund will be made and the reservation cannot be rescheduled.

WEATHER CONDITIONS: We can assume no responsibility for the weather. In case of early departure, there will be no refund given. During the Winter season, some roads may require four wheel drive vehicles or tire chains.

HOLIDAYS: Weekends associated with the following holidays require a 4-night minimum stay: New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. (Refer to Rates/Weekend Rates.)

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES: Check-in time is after 3:00pm, and check-out time is by 10:00am. During our peak seasons, check-in time may be delayed slightly. (Check-in and Check-out times are flexible if the unit is not rented just before or just after your stay.)

AGE RESTRICTIONS: Anyone under the age of 21 is not permitted to register and will forfeit their deposit. Children are allowed; however, they must be well behaved and under parental supervision at all times. Please advise the owner at time of inquiry if children will be included in your party.

GROUPS: A maximum of 10 guests per group is allowed. The person renting will assume responsibility for the rental home while staying there. A complete inventory is taken after each stay. REGULATIONS: The following regulations apply to all guests/renters and visitors to La Belle Ruine:

Occupancy and use of each rental home shall not disturb or offend neighbors or nearby residents. La Belle Ruine has the right to terminate any rental agreement and ask disruptive guests to leave the premises.

Smoking is not allowed inside the home at any time.

Sorry, pets are not allowed.

The owner has the right to enter the house at any time.
